Elizabeth's Place (EP3) is a 1550 sq.ft. 3-bedroom/1 bath furnished apartment a few steps above street level, with lots of natural light and commanding 10' ceilings over hardwood oak floors. It offers a living room with 66" cable TV, dining/meeting room to seat 8, gourmand's eat-in kitchen with SubZero fridge, bathroom with walk-in stall shower, personal seasonal free front-load washer and dryer, 2 cable TVs, and loaded with storage.    The 3 bedrooms contain a queen bed, full bed, and a single bed (or your own full)            and 2 more cable TVs. We can supply bedding and towels, or bring your own.

The sunny LIVING ROOM boasts large south-facing bay windows and hardwood oak floors. Ample seating faces the roomy buffet topped by a 66" TV. A multi-speed ceiling fan, and desk add to the room's comfort.

The DINING ROOM table seats 8 on leather-padded chairs, whether for eating or conducting business. The armoire and sideboard add storage and more closet space, and there's also a buffet and highboy.

The fully equipped deluxe KITCHEN includes furniture-look cabinets, SubZero refrigerator with 2 freezers, dishwasher, glass cooktop, stainless self-clean oven, Corian counters and sink, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, blender, and all kitchenware.

The oak table provides a casual eating venue for up to four.

BEDROOM 1 contains a queen bed flanked by 2 nightstands. The focal point is the wall of storage and closet, all resting on wall to wall navy carpet. The windows have frosted glass for both privacy and natural light. The 32" cable TV also plays DVDs.

The heart of BEDROOM 2 is its antique Louis Philippe full bed, complimented by a bright white dresser, bedside table, mirrored closet and storage. The windows have frosted glass for both privacy and natural light.

BEDROOM 3 has a single-sized bed, and your own full also could work. The desk provides an ideal work space beneath shelves, and the closet is extra deep.

In the BATHROOM are a stall shower, antique Bombay chest with vessel sink and Corian counter, linen closet -- even towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.

The LAUNDRY ROOM is just for this unit -- with free seasonal newer full-sized front-load machines, plus more storage space.There is the option of adding a second smaller washing machine.

"My family just spent 9 months at this venue. The apartment is roomy and the layout of Elizabeth with the connecting living room, dining room and kitchen made visiting easy no matter what activity people were engaged in."

"The apartment is old (1800s!), but lovely and very modernized. I find it a homey place to stay. I had a great time and would def return if I travel to Chicago again!"

"We were very happy with our long-term stay. We had a private apartment with a much nicer kitchen than at home -- even a subzero refrigerator with TWO freezers-very luxurious!  There is a grocery one block away so you can make whatever you like in your eat-in kitchen."

BEDROOM 1 contains a queen bed flanked by 2 nightstands, a 32" cable TV with DVD player, windows with frosted glass to provide both natural light and privacy, ceiling fan,    AC and wall-to-wall carpet. The shelving system and tall closet provide plenty of storage.

"I've stayed all over the world, and once in Europe I was mistaken for a Nobel prize winner of the same last name and given their best room and hospitality. But it was not as wonderful as Elizabeth's Place - this is by far the best place I've ever stayed in my many travels."

BEDROOM 3 has a single bed -- or your own full size could work. A marble-topped desk with task lamp and USB port provides an ideal work space. For storage, there are two dressers, shelving and a deep closet. For comfort, this room has a ceiling fan, as well as    its own AC unit.

The BATHROOM has a walk-in stall shower, antique Bombay chest with vessel sink on a Corian counterand deep linen closet. If you like, we can provide towels and a hair dryer.

"Whenever I come back to Chicago, AsterHouse is my home! I've already passed on the details to my little sister. And now I'm just relishing the memories of beautiful Elizabeth's and the little green patch in the back and the deck!"
